We’ll need to set you up an account on the Beneful site so you can come and play in Dogspace. Nothing too serious, just some simple contact and identity details so that we can maintain the security of our members. You’ll also need a password – you can set and change that from here. |

Set up your own gallery
To get your snaps onto their page:
- Open your pet's page
- Click the add photo button
- Use the browse button to find your digital photos (here’s a tip; use the thumbnail view in windows to get a preview of your photos)
- Select the photo you want and enter a caption to tell everyone what’s going on in the shot
- Don’t worry about what size the photo is because we’ll resize it to fit perfectly for you
- Hit upload to start transferring the file Dogspace, this can take a while if you have big files so please be patient
Repeat the upload process for each photo you’d like to add to your pooch’s page – you’ll see the pictures you’ve successfully uploaded displayed on the page. Once you’ve got all you want click finished uploading to go back to their page and see how it’s looking.
To pick their ID photo, tick the box under your favourite picture and click the set as main image button.
You’re done! You can add or delete photos at any time or change their caption by logging in and editing your pooch’s page again.
TECH TIP: we resample your photos to approx 1Mb for storage, so if you can resize the photo before you upload it you’ll save yourself a bit of time.

Tell some Tales
Our pet owners love to hear about each other’s adventures so put paw to paper and write some Pet Tales for your pooch. Select which dog your tale is about and we’ll add their picture to the page so everyone can see the star of the story. You can remove or change any of the Tales you’ve already written by logging in and opening the Tale. Click the edit and delete buttons to make your changes. |

Make friends online
Found a like minded dog on our site – why not make them your friend*. Just look for the invite to be a friend button on their page to send them an invite. If they like the look of your invite you’ll see them appear at the bottom of your pooch’s page. You’ll need to log in to send invites |

Chat to other pets
Find out what other pets are up to by sending them messages*. To chat with another pet look for the send me a message button on their page. Type in your message and select which pets it’s from in the drop down. To see if you’ve got messages just log in and check your messages panel – or check a pet’s page and click the messages button. You’ll need to log in to send and receive messages. |
